Since graduating from the University of British Columbia's School of Rehabilitation Medicine, Robina has practiced in sports and orthopaedic rehabilitation in various clinical settings throughout the United States and here, in the Okanagan.
In April of 2010, Robina received her certification in Vestibular Rehabilitation at the Emery University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia, making her one of the only two certified vestibular therapists in the Okanagan. Robina treats patients for orthopaedic conditions and sport injuries at Sun City Physiotherapy's downtown clinic, while continuing to treat patients for vestibular problems, such as vertigo, dizziness and balance disorders.
While practicing in the United States, Robina worked with the Men's New Orleans Storm Soccer Team. And upon retuning to Canada in 2000, she was a member of the Physiotherapy team for the Penticton Men's Soccer team and both the Vernon and BC freestyle ski team performing assessments and developing individualized training programs for the skiers. She currently continues to lecture regularly to businesses and organizations on ergonomics, back care, and injury prevention.
In her free time, Robina is usually skiing, mountain biking, hiking, on a backcountry adventure, or training for another half-marathon.
As part of our commitment to provide the highest level of professional care, our therapists are continually attending postgraduate courses and specializing in multiple areas of treatment.
