Teryn Buna B.Sc.Kines (Hons), M.PT Teryn is a physiotherapist at Sun City Physiotherapy's downtown location, in Kelowna--her home-town.
After completing high school at KSS, Teryn moved to Calgary to complete her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology, majoring in Exercise and Health Physiology. During her studies, she played for the University of Calgary Dinos varsity field hockey team, and represented the team as captain for three years. She then moved back out to the West Coast to play her final year as a UBC Thunderbird. Teryn achieved her 5th "Academic All Canadian," awarded to students who attain both academic and athletic excellence, while completing her Masters of Physiotherapy in Vancouver.
Teryn enjoys treating a wide variety of conditions, but her athletic background has led her to focus on sports injury and manual therapy. She has a passion for learning, and is currently pursuing her orthopaedic levels.
A strong advocate for an active healthy lifestyle, she enjoys running, hiking, yoga, field hockey, and salsa dancing.
