Janice is a Registered Dietitian originally from Prince Edward Island, who holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition from Saint Francis Xavier University (Antigonish, NS), a Masters of Applied Human Nutrition from Mount Saint Vincent University (Halifax, NS), and a dietetic internship from Eastern Health (St. John’s, NL).

Janice has enjoyed working in the private weight loss industry, as a clinical dietitian in the health care authorities and as a grocery store tour leader for both children and adult groups. As a Dietitian, Janice understands the importance of continuous learning to stay up to date with the latest nutrition information and trending ideas.

As a new local to the Okanagan, Janice loves exploring through anything active! Running, hiking, biking, waterskiing, kayaking, skiing at Big White (as much as someone who grew up on a sandbar can – sticking to the blue and green runs!), and of course – experiencing all the local eats and drinks. Her most recent organized athletic accomplishments are running the High Rim Trail (58km trial between Kelowna and Vernon) and an Olympic Triathalon in Oliver 2019. She is very excited to have this new opportunity to explore the beautiful Okanagan!
